I graduated from Trinity School of Texas in 1991 with the distinction of “Archain Logos.” I continued my education at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, with a degree in Art with a minor in Theatre. At Millsaps, I was involved in The Campus Ministry Team, Habitat for Humanity, and Alpha Psi Omega, the national theatre honorary. In addition, I enjoyed serving as the Social Secretary for Phi Mu Sorority. After graduation, I taught in Pusan, South Korea, as an ESL trained elementary teacher. I returned to Longview, and eventually to Trinity where I am now in my 16th year as the Early Childhood and Lower School art teacher. Along the way, I completed my Masters in Teaching from National University in San Diego. In the community I enjoy volunteering at the Longview Museum of Fine Arts, The Gregg County Historical Museum, City of Longview events, and at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church as a lector and a youth minister. Away from school, I like to cook for my family and friends, refinish furniture, enjoy my children, read mystery novels, and constantly redecorate my home. I have been married to my husband, Damian for ten years and have two children, Gabriel, 7, and Beatrix, 6.
