Georgia

Who is Georgia Scott? She is a daughter, a sister, an athlete, and a student. Georgia is a sixth grade student who loves to learn and to play sports. This energetic young woman plays both school and club soccer, takes ballet classes, and loves to run. An avid learner, Georgia loves to study science, especially anything having to do with astronomy. She also participates in PSIA and has advanced to state in Creative Writing several times. Her academic ability is also evident in another area – spelling. Georgia has represented her grade several times over the years and has even represented Gregg County in the Dallas Morning News Scrips National Spelling Bee. In her free time, Georgia loves to travel. Her favorite trips have been to America’s national parks. This past year she traveled with her family to Rocky Mountain National Park where she hiked and fished- two of her favorite pastimes. Who knows what Georgia will be when she grows up? Whatever it is, she will be up to the challenge!


WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT BEING A STUDENT AT TST?

I like being a student at TST because it is a small school so everyone knows everyone. It is like a family.

WHO IS ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE TST TEACHERS AND WHY?

I love Mrs. Spates because I had her as a teacher in 2nd and 3rd grade, and now she is my Spanish teacher.

WHY WOULD YOU TELL A FRIEND TO ATTEND TST?

I would tell someone to attend TST because it has very good teachers, and you have a lot of fun.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TST MEMORY?

My favorite memory was when I learned how to write cursive with shaving cream on my desk.
