• GROWING

    Children into adults.
    Students into leaders.

Admissions

At Trinity, we introduce young people to the world of ideas. We encourage them to be curious. We show them how to build on their inherent strengths and how to overcome the things they find difficult. In short, we make our students ready. Ready to tackle complex challenges. Ready to lead with heart. Ready to succeed in a world none of us can even yet imagine.

Come see what EDUCATION without LIMITS can mean for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How many students are at TST?
TST has almost 300 students, 2 year olds through Grade 12.  The average classroom in Lower School (KG-5th) has 12-15 students.

Q: How old does a child need to be to apply to TST?
Children need to be 2 years old by September 1 to be eligible for the 2 year old program. Occasionally, children who turn two in October-January are admitted on their birthdays with the understanding that they will spend the subsequent year completing a full year in the 2 year old program. Children applying to Kindergarten should be 5 years old by September 1.

Q: Do you have an after-school program for students?
We have an Extended Enrichment Program for 2 year olds through 5th grade that runs until 6:00 p.m. This program can be used every day or on an as-needed basis. In addition, TST offers drama and Bible study as afternoon extracurricular opportunities for Lower School students and competitive sports for Middle and Upper School students.

Q: Does TST have team sports?
Yes! Beginning in 6th grade, our Middle School teams have a no-cut policy allowing beginners to try a sport for the first time. TST offers the following competitive sport opportunities in Middle and Upper School: six-man football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis, golf, and track. We compete in TAPPS (Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools).

Q: Does TST serve lunch?
TST serves lunch to all students including our youngest two year old students. We offer two hot-lunch options plus a salad bar.  Students are allowed to bring their lunch as well.

Q: Does TST have programs for International Students? Do you issue I-20s?
Yes. TST has international students who reside with local families. We are able to issue I-20s to students who qualify for admission. Please see more detailed information regarding International students under the Admission tab.

Q: Do you have programs for students with learning differences or special needs?
TST does not have separate programs for special needs students, but the individualized attention and small class size can be beneficial to students who have minor learning differences.

Q: Does TST offer any programs for students with behavioral problems?
No. TST is a college preparatory school with a rigorous academic curriculum. We do not have programs for students with discipline, behavioral, or drug and alcohol related problems.

Let's Get Started!

Visiting Trinity

We want you to experience TST for yourself. We think one of the best ways for a prospective student to learn what it's like to be a student at TST is to visit on a regular school day.

  • PARENT TOURS

Families interested in exploring TST may wish to schedule a parent tour. Tours are designed for parents and are given during the school day to allow you to make valuable observations about our school community, learning environment, and philosophy.

Tours last approximately 30 minutes. A typical tour begins in the Admission Office with a walking tour of our campus, a visit to classrooms in the division(s) you are interested in, a brief meeting with a teacher, division head, or principal. There are many opportunities to ask questions.
To schedule a campus tour, please contact the Admission Office.

  • FAQS ABOUT STUDENT VISITS

    • When do I arrive? Your visit is for a full or half school day. It will start in the Admissions Office where you will meet your student guide at 7:50 a.m.
    • What do I wear? Many TST students will be wearing khaki shorts, pants, and skirts with a polo style shirt. You may do the same if you prefer to blend in; otherwise you may wear your usual school clothes.
    • What will I experience? During your visit you will have a chance to experience the excitement of learning in our small classes, to join us in the Commons for lunch (our treat!), and to meet students and faculty. We will do our best to customize your day and pair you with someone who shares common interests.
    • How long is my visit? Your day will end at 3:00 or 3:30 p.m., depending on the division.
