Tuition Assistance Process
Tuition assistance is awarded to families who demonstrate need as funds are available. Students entering grades KG through 12 are eligible to apply. This process is strictly confidential and is administered through the Office of Admission.
With limited funding available, applicants are encouraged to apply early for consideration before funds are exhausted.
The deadline to submit an application for tuition assistance is April 1, 2012 for the upcoming 2012-2013 academic year.
Although applications may be submitted after this date, funding is often exhausted after this deadline.
Step 1: Pre-Register Student for Admission (See Admission Process for complete details.)
Prospective students must be tested and accepted to the school prior to submitting an application for tuition assistance. Please note that testing, registration, extended care, uniform, dining and textbook fees are not included with tuition assistance awards.
Step 2: Complete an Online Financial Need Analysis
Trinity School of Texas requires that all applicants complete a financial need analysis through FACTS Management Company, a secure, third party provider that specializes in the assessment of such reports for independent schools.
This online application is available at https://www.factstuitionaid.com). FACTS will assess a $25 fee to each family submitting an application for assistance at the time reports are completed online.
Applicants who do not have internet access may make arrangements with the Director of Admission to reserve a private terminal at the school in order to complete this report.
Step 3: Submit Supporting Documentation
Once the online application is complete, families must submit all necessary supporting documentation to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. This includes:
- Copies of your most recent tax forms including all supporting tax schedules.
- Copies of your 2010 W-2 form for both you and your spouse.
- Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers’ Compensation, and TANF.
This information is necessary for FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to evaluate the need for tuition assistance.
Step 4: Assistance Notification
Notices of tuition assistance awards are sent to applicants in May for the upcoming school year.
Students receiving a tuition assistance award must finalize acceptance contracts, enrollment agreements, and any remaining paperwork with the Director of Admission by June 1, 2012 for the upcoming 2012-2013 school year.
It will be assumed that recipients with outstanding paperwork after June 1, 2012 have declined their assistance award. Unclaimed assistance awards will then be available for allocation to other applicants who have also demonstrated financial need.
