The Arts are Everywhere at Trinity!
From the artwork displayed in the Commons to the students performing before Christmas for La Posada, one can see and hear the arts throughout the year. Trinity students have arts opportunities that begin with music and art in Early Childhood and Lower School. In Middle and Upper School, students continue to hone their artistic interests with advanced opportunities in the arts that include photography, Studio Art, and Choir. Guitar, violin, piano, and drama classes are currently offered to students as extracurricular activities. Additionally, a highlight of the spring semester is the series of Early Childhood and Lower School musical performances, as well as the Lower School Musical.
Trinity School of Texas takes pride in our TAPPS performances in Fine Arts competitions, as well, most recently having won District and placed second in State Fine Arts competitions in 2010-2011. We anticipate an equally fine outcome in the current year’s competitions.
The Trinity Fine Arts program inspires creativity, growth, confidence, self-assurance and life-long enjoyment of the arts. Graduates frequently pursue their artistic endeavors in college. Many alums make the arts their life careers by pursuing acting, fashion design, and graphic design, just to name a few!
The talented Fine Arts faculty are not only dedicated instructors, but are also recognized artists in the community. By instilling in their students a great passion for the arts, the teachers allow each student the belief and confidence that success in the arts is within their reach.
