Admission Process
The following step-by-step information will assist you when making application for admission to Trinity School of Texas. Due to limited enrollment, we encourage you to complete this process in a timely manner.
After reading the steps outlined below, interested applicants may download the required applications and paperwork at the links provided within.
Step 1: Initial Contact
To Schedule a preliminary visit and campus tour:
Contact Toni Brothers, Director of Admission,
Phone: (903) 753-0612 ext. 236
Email: tbrothers@trinityschooloftexas.com
Step 2: Formal Application
Submit the following completed forms to the Office of Admission, along with applicable registration and testing fees. (See tuition rate sheet for specific amounts.)
Transcript Request Form (required for TST to request student records from your child's current school)
When pre-registering a prospective student for the following academic year, a $100 non-refundable fee will be accepted in lieu of a registration fee to secure a position on a specific class wait list. Upon notification of a student's acceptance, the registration fee must be paid within 2 business days. The $100 application fee will then be applied toward the student registration fee.
Step 3: Tuition Assistance
Tuition assistance is awarded to families who demonstrate need as funds are available. Students entering grades 1 through 12 are eligible to apply. This process is strictly confidential and is administered through the Office of Admission.
Prospective students must be tested and accepted to the school prior to submitting an application for tuition assistance. Please note that testing and registration fees are not included with tuition assistance awards.
All tuition assistance applicants are required to complete an online financial report (available at https://www.factstuitionaid.com ). This report is processed by FACTS Grand & Aid Assessment, a secure, third party provider that specializes in the assessment of such reports for independent schools. (If you would like more information about them, feel free to visit their Web site at www.factsmgt.com .)
FACTS will assess a $25 fee to each family submitting an application for assistance at the time reports are completed online.
Applicants who do not have internet access may make arrangements with the Director of Admission to reserve a private terminal at the school in order to complete this report.
The deadline to receive tuition assistance applications is April 1 (prior to the upcoming academic year). With limited funding available, applicants are encouraged to apply early for consideration before funds are exhausted.
Step 4: Testing
Kindergarten through Grade 12
Academic testing is required for all students applying for Kindergarten through Grade 12. Testing fees must be paid at the time a test is administered. (Testing amounts are listed on the tuition rate sheet.)
The Director of Admission will contact you to schedule an individual testing date.
Early Childhood
An observation session is required for all early childhood applicants. This session takes about 15 minutes and allows an experienced instructor to interact with your child. Since Trinity provides very personalized attention, this time provides information which is particularly helpful when preparing to work with each new student. No fees are assessed for these sessions.
The Director of Admission will contact you to schedule an observation date.
Step 5: Application Review
Upon receipt of all student records and required documents, the student's file will be submitted to the admission committee for review.
Candidates are admitted without regard to race, religion, nationality or economic status. Admittance decisions are made based on the best interest of the applicant, as well as available classroom space. At times, it may be necessary to establish a waiting list before a decision on admission may be made.
Step 6: Acceptance
Upon acceptance into Trinity School of Texas, enrollment contracts will be presented and signed. All remaining paperwork and fees must be submitted at this time. This includes a copy of your child's birth certificate, social security card and most recent immunization record.
